EV Star GreenPower Motor Company produces a full line of high-floor as well as low-floor all-electric medium and heavy-duty vehicles. Their flagship vehicle is the EV Star Cab & Chassis platform, which can be used to accommodate a variety of upfits and bodies for multiple applications. The design of the platform is based on a simple sheet of paper, which allows for the best placement of the battery and a lower center of gravity. This results in better payload/range ratios. The EV Star REEFERX is designed to meet the needs of mid to last mile refrigerated delivery and catering applications. The refrigerated truck's class 4 design's one wall structure in the interior and higher insulation compared to traditional trucks allows for seamless sanitation, improved temperature control and a more extended life. The EV Star REEFERX offers superior capacity for cargo and a world-class payload to range ratio for zero emission passenger transport and goods. GreenPower has partnered with Perrone Robotics in order to equip the EV Star with TONY (To navigate you) autonomous vehicle systems, which will enable fleets to easily move to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star can also be wirelessly charging up to 75 kW. We were able to test drive the EV9 on a local highway for several hours and found it to be easy to drive, and comfortable to drive long distances. The ride is smooth and smooth over bumps and ruts, and the EV9 does a great job of suppressing the sound of traffic and wind on the highway. green power scooters is extremely quick and the vehicle has adjustable regenerative brakes that allow “one pedal driving” by simply taking off the accelerator. With the Biden Administration aiming to electrify school buses nationwide, GreenPower plans on ramping up production to meet demand. Their EV Star buses are the first of their kind to be Altoona tested and FMVSS certified, Buy America compliant, and ADA compliant.
